Canopy Messaging Tools

One of Canopy’s strengths is the built-in tools to message students anywhere either by email or Canvas message. To do this, select the checkbox next to the student(s) name(s) you want to message. 

After marking the checkbox next to the name(s), click either Canvas Message or email button. For Canvas messages, a dialogue box will open up (see photo above) where you can compose and send the message. If you select multiple students, the same message will be sent to each student individually.

For emails, multiple students will result in one email sent to all students. Clicking the email button will open a new tab with your default email provider where you can compose and send the message.
