Version 7.2 of Annotate PRO for Chrome brings together some favorite features into one new major feature: Feedback Forms. AP developed a “Forms” feature that allowed for prompting custom text insertion in saved comments. Later version six of AP supported even more dynamic content with Checklists that allowed selecting wildcard options to insert.
Since then both features have received improvements like the ability to also insert unselected checklist items with a strikethrough, the ability to reset selections or keep the editor open, to edit the text of checklist items before insertion, and more. With added functionality in 7.2 for marking guides with the ability to keep a form open and use it while going through several students like when grading blue books, we’re calling this feedback experience “Feedback Forms”.
