With AP 7.21, available now, you can now create custom rubrics using Feedback Forms. Insert rubrics, with formatting like bolding and bullet points, right into anywhere you can use AP — including places like Word Online that don’t have rubric tools like many LMSs. And like all your AP content, it can be used across platforms. Create rubrics and use them with multiple solutions without having to create rubrics independently in each tool or LMS.
Notice how with these rubrics you can provide more specific, actionable feedback. Rather than just selecting a generic reason for a score, use sub-points to only select the specific area for improvement. Or add a text area to prompt freeform reflections and feedback. AP handles the math, allowing you to create and use a rubric that handles scoring automatically.
Just like AP allows inserting formatted text in areas that don’t natively support it, rubrics retain their formatting when you insert them into comments, emails, or feedback areas.
