Annotate PRO version 7.15 was released in February 2025. This brings some very visual updates and customizations for the AP toolbar. AP+ and Institutional users can already sort and color favorite buttons in the toolbar, but now we’ve added other customization options for AP+ and Institutional users. You’ll now notice two little buttons below the search box in the toolbar.
By default the left button is selected, showing the classic favorites view. If you select the right button you can now display ALL your comments in the sidebar. They will be displayed in the order they appear in your Libraries. We’ve also added features to organize the buttons. If you’d like to see what group they are in, like in the above screenshot, you can select “Sort by Group” from the Lightning Menu above the search bar. We’ve also added the ability to make buttons smaller if you want to have a lot of content on the screen at once. Here’s a preview of some of the configuration options, mix and match to suit your preferences:

GoReact is a tool that allows educators to leave time-stamped comments on videos and student video presentations. They have a limited comment bank feature built in, but with the AP toolbar (and Presentation Skills Library) you can quickly give feedback on live presentations. It also includes rubric support and detailed analytics.
Perusall

Perusall is a tool for adding notes and highlights to a variety of educational resources, including support for thousands of textbooks and other scholarly works.
