11trees is a strong proponent of supporting initiatives to protect wildlife and the environment. Our collaborators are involved with different nature-focused non-profits and NGOs. 11trees Founder Andrew McCann is on the board of directors Bush2Base (B2B), a non-profit focused on chimpanzee conservation in Tanzania.Â
B2B filmed a documentary on location in Tanzania about the work being done to protect the chimpanzees there. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the filming and editing of the video clips by the on location team. Taking advantage of the fact that our Product Marketing Manager Tyler Wenzel is a wildlife videographer with expertise in video editing, 11trees stepped in to help.Â
It was a complicated process due to some technical limitations. 11trees donated half the time to re-edit the video, including re-coloring and correcting some errors with the text overlays, and Tyler donated the rest. The result is a much better-looking and factually correct documentary. We’re happy to have been able to help support their important mission and grateful to have a team that is passionate and willing to help.Â
