The Writers' Toolkit is a lightweight add-in for Microsoft Word (2007 and 2010 versions). Installation will only take a few minutes, and you can easily uninstall the add-in at any time. The Writers' Toolkit is FREE for students and writers of all kinds. Make sure you have exited Microsoft Word before beginning this process. If you already have a version of the Writers' Toolkit installed, uninstall it via Windows Add/Remove programs (Programs and Features in Windows 7). You must have Administrator rights on your computer to install the Writers' Toolkit.
Step 1: Download and Install Microsoft .NET(Microsoft Office 2010 and Windows 7 users should be able to skip this step - .NET is built into your software already.) Windows XP and Vista users need to install a free Microsoft component called .NET to run the Writers' Toolkit. The link below is to the latest and greatest version from Microsoft. You must have .NET installed on your computer in order to install the Toolkit.
