Windows 7 and Microsoft .NET 3.5: “You must turn Windows features…”

Windows 7 includes many improvements over Windows XP, and certainly Windows Vista.

One of these improvements is the inclusion of the ‘.NET Framework’ – code from Microsoft that provides the foundation for programs like Annotate.

So if you’re using Annotate with Windows 7 you can skip the lengthy download of .NET. But you may have to ‘allow’ .NET 3.5.1 to run on your computer. If you see the following message during installation of Annotate, you’ll need to take the following steps, then rerun the Annotate installation.
